i think the left is an emotional excess that is sustained by a strongly rational foundation which the left itself must deny and hate. like kids who rebel against their parents who provide them with everything.

honestly everything about the left now is just a child’s tantrum of reactive emotion. too bad it slowly gains more political power over time. eventually it will eat so much out of its own foundation that it collapses back into marginal status.

this entire trend across modern history is a kind of balancing act between thinking and feeling. i can’t take any leftist seriously anymore because a leftist no longer thinks, he just “feels stuff.” it’s sad it’s gotten to this point but also entirely predictable.

a system and society flourishes because it is based in reality and logic. then it produces an excess of raw feeling that doesn’t need to think because so many others are doing the thinking. then that excess gains more power because feelings are part of what we all are and thought takes effort. so our society and system will continue to flourish until the feeling side reaches a threshold and folds everything and thinking becomes impossible. then more reality will be needed after the collapse and thinking will return to being “cool” again.

it’s an absurd game. but humans are stupid as fuck. so this game will go on.

But if a child threw an increasingly ugly tantrum 2 year long with no end in sight and people constantly died in horrible ways on account of it, you'd have good reason to lock it in its room.

It seems the left will continue until it is all out war, in which it would perish, sickness longing for its end, as N foresaw. It will take as much life with it as it can, as it must convince itself that all life is as wretched as it.

I do think the left now is basically the full definition of evil. In as far as the word evil has meaning, I think it comes to full fruition in the current left.

In as far as Im a human, humans are genius. Trump is a genius, you are, I know quite a bunch of geniuses, and I think we need to get back on top again, like we were in Athens, which was, contrary to what Plato has his readers believe, ruled by lofty genius.

well now i think it is just emotions. it isn't about emotions or reason, rather there should be both, working together. that is how to move forward in politics or anything else.

the more intelligent someone is the more difficult it will be for them to cohere themselves at the level of their emotions+reason. it is just because there is more substance there to reconcile, or not even that, it is that "intelligence" doubles down on the complexity that already exists, and by thinking about this complex structure itself actually makes it more complex, thus creating a runaway cycle.

in contrast, people of moderate to somewhat low intelligence can just get along fine being themselves, they do not really have crises of the soul, existential crises, depression or lassitude or ennui, they just... exist. or rather, their own complexity is sufficient to itself; or no, it is that the self-reading aspect of their 'program', their consciousness -- the part of it that exists only or primarily to scan consciousness itself, detect and sound out its structure, and identify correct and incorrect parts so these can be taken care of as needed -- in a less intelligent person this scanning function is small enough so that the complexity of their consciousness does not really become an issue to them.

most commonly i guess this is called self-awareness. but only intelligent people would call it that. to a "normal" person such a thing as self-awareness is just another kind of breathing, just something automatic that you do because you do it. and it requires basically no effort.

every person's consciousness is actually extremely complex, even the stupid person. but the stupid person isn't troubled by their own consciousness, so the complexity isn't really a problem for them. Of course their own complexity is much simpler than the complexity of a genius mind, but for the genius it isn't so much the greater complexity of his mind but rather the fact that his self-scanning mechanism is so tuned up and sensitive and "on" all the time that he creates constant feedback looping cycles within his own consciousness, because he is always scanning it and trying to fix errors, to see what works and what doesn't work about himself. of course this is a never ending process because once you change something you change many other things in relation and cascading forward in time, so the process is never finished. it would be like trying to paint a painting where every time you add paint somewhere on the canvas then all the existing paint also changes somehow, in ways you can't really predict in advance.

anyway, i don't think the emotions of leftists are really the problem, it is more like the lack of reason as the ability to set emotions aside temporarily and compare them to some other framework, like reason and facts, and then attempt a synthesis of the two. this synthesis is precisely what the self-scanning mechanism is also doing. but the self-scanning mechanism is mostly focused on structure of consciousness, things like ideas and reason and behavior, and not so much on emotions. emotions are interesting because they sort of self-police themselves or rather are subject to a kind of shadow law that is somewhat in society and in the inter-relations with others, so there really is no parallel self-scanning mechanism of the emotions like there is for thought.

so we end up with two different types of syntheses, we have emotion attempted to be compared to reason, and we have reason attempted to be compared to itself. then of course there is a higher-order synthesis of these two types of syntheses also being compared to one another. also the fact that both emotion and thought are excesses and tend to be kept more or less in control by repressing themselves into prefixed structures so that feelings or ideas are filtered out that more or less make sense within the world around us. we are able to talk to other people about what we are thinking and feeling, at least some of the time. that is the whole point of these 'repressing' structures.

where does the leftist fit into all this? what about the rightist? reason and emotions are both needed so society naturally split down the middle, with about half on one side emphasizing reason and the other half emphasizing emotion. most people are somewhere in the middle but as you move toward the outliers it is basically balanced on both sides. because emotion self-polices while reason self-scans it is reason that tends to lead in development with emotion taking up the rear and basically accepting things as givens. to reason nothing is ever really given, everything needs to be dug up and reassured its foundations all the time, but emotion is basically the exact opposite of that, because if you start digging up emotions like that you actually damage them or even destroy them. emotions are basically required to be givens and to take things for granted, to take themselves for granted and their own conditions for granted. whereas reason is the fact that nothing is taken for granted, nothing is just "given".

ah..... lol. i can actually redefine emotions and reason as quite literally these tendencies, and nothing besides. look at this: emotion is the tendency as such to take for granted, to take as given, while reason is the tendency as such to not take for granted, to not take as given.

whatever excesses exist in us, excesses of perspective or truth or value, they are shaped according to these two dimensions. there is the tendency to inquire and dig deep and unearth and tear down and build up and test and retest and test again and verify and then confirm and then start the whole process all over again.... this tendency is what we call reason, or thought. then there is the tendency to leave it be, to accept, to enjoy in the givenness of something, to allow things to be what they are, including oneself, and to have achieved something of such significance that one earns the right to be able to enjoy it as taking it for granted, as one does not need to constantly dig and poke at it because it is already there and formed and good and working, and sure and certain and able therefore to act as a firm foundation for being.... this tendency is what we call emotion, or feelings.

emotions have evolved in response to a lot of facts and truths often filtered through the social contexts and social laws we are subject to, also biological contexts and laws, but also truth itself, fact and reason. so reason and emotion are united if you were to go down deeply enough, where the excesses pulse and merge like strobe lights in the dark. you have this primordial, original excess thing, and from it certain logical tendencies arise; the two tendencies i described above, combined with a billion years of life evolving and changing and adapting and learning and passing on something of itself to the next generation, always growing and developing a bit closer to truth, always becoming just a little more fleshed out and comprehensive, now at the point in the process where we exist we have these aspects of our subjectivity called emotion and reason. naturally different sort of contents have tended to gather to one or the other of these, based on their methods and approaches and the kind of logic animating them. but technically also these methods are not the contents they hold or employ. although the contents would not be drawn into the method without sharing some common features further down, so we might even say that the method itself is a kind of derivative, smaller or more focused excess, like a strain or typology of excess reaching out into the world to see what it can discover and draw to itself in order to compensate for its own self-disunion. so this entire weird process playing out in humanity for millions of years or however long its been, i mean really this process clearly involves all mammals and probably much other life that isnt mammalian, and now here we are. and in the realm of politics we have 'THE RIGHT' and 'THE LEFT', which act like behemoths and monstrous masks for this entirely deep and intricate process of synthesis going on. synthesis of excess. excesses reach out according to their own method and type and seek and attract that kind of content which is sufficiently similar to themselves, whereby the excessive structure expands and grows, starts to more firmly merge itself into the world around it, and into truth. due to the logic-tree structure of this process no two people will ever amass the same contents or use the same contents in the same ways, so that very quickly each individual becomes very unique in the structure and contents of his own excessive subjectivity.

the right wants to set law, the left wants to abolish law. why? these are the exact opposite tendencies of the subjective excess-methods themselves. the right is represented as thought, the left is represented as emotion. this is about the emphasis on either one. for the rightist emotions comes from his reason, fundamentally speaking; for the leftist his reason comes from his emotions, fundamentally speaking. but neither of those is possible because these are two different processes, and each process is not only distinct and different from the other but also self-moderates itself very differently. so really the left and right represent different kinds of synthesis attempts, of prioritizing either one side or the other to try and get to a synthesis that works for both sides. so society and humanity are testing this entire thing out in real time around us, with people skewing toward one side or the other. when one side becomes too powerful, like the left did over the last few decades, then the other side steps in to correct this, because one side getting too powerful will always cause problems that escalate beyond the ability of those same sides to fix. emotion cannot really fix its own problems very well because of how emotion tends to be about acceptance of the given and taking for granted, emotion is not fundamentally analytic enough to fix serious or multiple problems head-on and without a very sophisticated kind of intermediary, while for reason it is the opposite process and it is actually far too analytic to fix serious or multiple problems head-on, because each problem becomes a thousand problems each of those also multiplying out and then creating fixes actually changes the entire game so the problems need to be re-evaluated again. emotion and reason can be quite good at dealing with small problems, but not with the big ones. in the face of the big problems more true excesses are needed, excesses of spirit for example, of action, of value, of power, of risk or exploration or or or. so this not analytical enough side and this too analytical side end up shaking hands and more or less balancing each other out. left and right brain. left and right politics.

but fundamentally people cannot really transition into the other type, they will tend to remain their own type, and since half the population is one side and half the other side this causes problems. that is why politics remains secondary to life, to our human relationships and things in the world we enjoy and value with each other, other than politics. politics is itself excessive, a kind of sign of the excess of society itself as pertains to this whole underground subjectivity system that i am talking about here. politics is a way to mediate it and keep things going. but the efficacy of politics in the world is so severe and extreme that political systems quickly lose their moderate status, if they ever had it, and become radical and attempt to make themselves, politics as such, the most important thing in the world and in the life of the people. when that happens the society is really breaking down. and then some kind of conflict or change will come that relieves and redirects this tension and things settle down again, people realize that politics is just politics, and a period of relative laziness and unconcern sets in, people just get apathetic about politics and stop caring for the most part, which rebuilds the intermediate middle spaces where life and the world actually flourish and allow politics its more natural place as a periphery sort of thing to human affairs, except that when people are this apathetic then politics will be left to its own devices more or less and being to grow again. its just an endless cycle.

politics pulsing and the real life-world of humanity also pulsing, up and down, reaching and resisting each other. this is another synthesis except it is more like a daemonic anti-synthesis because these two spheres cannot ever really combine. politics and life will forever be separate enterprises and entities. to draw far into one means to draw far out of the other. and for a person naturally drawn into life, to get drawn into politics too far is quite damaging. perhaps there are also political humans who cannot afford to get drawn too far into life. i suppose that makes sense, except that this would not be a 50/50 balance because the life-world is always primary as with the earth, while politics is always secondary and peripheral, although essential and shaping the earth too. so most humans would prefer the life-world to the political-world. so when politics becomes the main focus you will have a lot of problems of people being drawn too far out of the life-world and they will become confused, disassociated, scared, depressed, etc. so the purpose right now is just to rebuild the intermediate middle areas where the life-world can grow itself as the earth in human society and politics can step back and do its thing in relative obscurity, for good or ill. that is the only real function of politics, it is this kind of truth-procedure that utilizes good and bad, truth and untruth, all in the attempt to create some kind of lasting stable framework for earthy life-world expansions in human society and between us all. and politics is also law, and the good, and the structure of reason itself, also of emotion. which is probably why politics as both a system and an ideological surface is at once highly technical-analytical as well as highly imprecise-emotional. politics is actually the combination of both of these tendencies.

allow me to add something about the psyche of left excess, concerning transgender and the politicizing of homosexuality.

what are the known mannerisms of the typical image of a gay man? more effeminate. they appear “silly”. why? because silliness is how women relate to children, and how children will often relate to each other and to adults. silliness is a way of deflating the perceived or potential harm out of others, it is a way of lightening the burden of things. it combines humor with absurdity and forces an image on the world that says “this surely cannot be serious or dangerous!” women like men who behave in silly ways, because this shows how that man is not serious ie potentially dangerous. well leftist women like men who are this way. i’m not sure what rightist women like since i have never known any.

transgender is very similar. a man in a dress and makeup is “silly”, a laughable light hearted thing, like a clown. as one comedian said, it’s impossible not to laugh at such a man not because we are bigoted against him but because he is “silly and weird”.

subverting seriousness is a side effect of the need to depower potential threats. one feels this need when one feels the potential of those threats more intensely and in the unconscious. an excess of fear and self-doubt in the fact of possible threats produces silliness as a value, we see that in children who are totally powerless before the world, we see it in women too. “i’m not being serious so you can’t possible treat me with seriousness!” and now this attitude has spread so far as to produce many people who are transgender (so called) who have internalized this ethos, as well as leading what was once non-political homosexuality to become totally politicized and pushed under the image of silliness and non-seriousness as high value.
