I think before anyone think of Freud and any context-analyst, a thorough reading of William James is absolutely required, even simply for the sake of taste, to prevent a truly absurd extension of presumption; even though presumption is in the beginning a requirement, it is not necessary to immediately lose sight of the problem of this fact and indulge in its existence as if it is a farmers field rather than a lack of a light in the dark.
