The philosopher has too much of a hard time letting go of the power of Christ, though that power be the furthest from philosophy, because of its multimillennial hegemony. No, my friends.... Love battle.... Love it... It is for the goodly men. Our masochism is the masochism of feeling the blows of battle, victory does not inform one nearly as well that one is alive!
