IQ

I've seen from multiple sources that IQ is thought to be roughly 50%-80% heritable. Plenty of other psychological factors would also cluster with IQ here, such as intellectual motivation, curiosity, and intellectual honesty. As you probably know, I can't stand stupid people and I consider stupidity to be one of the most serious problems that humanity faces. One big reason to oppose the left/liberalism and all its PC/SJW nonsense is how these things devalue basic intelligence, they actually have no direct valuing of intelligence at all in any sense of what "intelligence" might be said to mean. In fact if you are of higher IQ they will sometimes devalue you as an "oppressor" especially if you are white, male, or American.

Bottom line is that intelligence is a universal trait and one of the most significant of all traits that we possess. Western culture having turned toward socialism and dependency, and toward baby-like mood coddling and a refusal to accept reality, is damaging the IQ of plenty of people; just because IQ is 50-80% heritable doesn't mean that a person genetically predisposed to an IQ of 90 can't learn how to value knowledge, discovery and a curiosity and honesty for mental activity and for truth, and end up with an IQ of 100 or even higher as a result. Likewise someone with a genetic predisposition for an IQ of say 100, perfect average, can grow up in a culture of shit-libs such as what mainstream American pop and political culture have become, and end up with an actual IQ of 90 or less. I mean just watch some of those SJW vs logic videos...

Also apparently noted in the book The Bell Curve is that immigrants tend to have a lower IQ than the average American has. Racial differences are also noted, which fits with what we already know about the strong heritability of genetics (plenty of other biological and phenotypical features are obviously heritable along racial lines, at least to a moderate degree). Predictably, the book was shunned for being "racist" since it has the audacity to actually claim that race exists and actually might mean something... and no, the authors are not calling for any kind of racist policies that I saw.

Another leftie-liberal SJW/PC trait, which is probably heritable to some degree too now that I think about it: just ignore whatever facts don't make you feel good, or challenge your preconceived narrative and the PC status quo norms; don't bother researching to find out if such claims are true or not, simply dismiss them as part of "white supremacy, institutional racism, implicit bias, cultural ethnocentrism, being mean", and whatever else you want to come up with.

Yes, heritage is a factor. I think the 50-80% is rather high though.

Immigrants is a difficult one too. Those who come to the USA for education reasons generally have a higher IQ and most of them end up staying after their schooling is finished. But then most other migrants would fall into your generalization.

In a world of survival of the fittest, there is little to disagree about "stupid people" being disliked. The real irony here is that we don't get to choose our intellect. Believe it or not, most people are doing the best that they can with what they have.

On a side note, I think apathy is one of the most serious problems humanity faces.
