Describing My Beliefs

For those of you who don't know me I am a self proclaimed anarchistic nihilist who embraces self rule and individual autonomy. I'm a rabid pessimist as my signature suggests in that I ultimately believe civilization is doomed and is on an inevitable path of self destruction, implosion, or annihilation. Fixed Cross and others are already acquainted with my beliefs.

Now even though I'm an anarchist I'm not a Marxist or communist. I hate when people naively lump all anarchists with Marxists. I'm somewhat of a Stirnerite and Stirner was around before that scum of the earth Karl Marx even set foot on this planet. I pride myself on being the most impolitically correct anarchist out there. I believe we live in a post capitalist and socialist world which means I support neither system. I am also a big critic of futurism and technological transhumanism.

This gives you a basic understanding of my beliefs.

Max Stirner is pretty cool. And transhumanism is garbage. Looks like we agree on two things already.

I've been more anarchist leaning myself, for a little while. Not something that I ever associated to myself in the past but it's growing on me. Although I still retain a good deal of distance from the full anarchist position you seem to inhabit. I believe philosophers should stray into ideas and ideologies for fun and to explore what is there to find, make some value-judgments, incorporates everything into our philosophical world-system of thought, but otherwise avoid falling entirely into a belief or pattern of thinking. Ideology and religion are anathema to philosophy.

But that being said, of course some ideological or religious positions are less crap than others.

Authentic anarchists haven't existed since the late 1800's ever since Karl Marx and the communists co-opted the general movement with the expulsion of Mikhail Bakunin. A lot of the anarchist movements nowadays I refer to as fake anarchists. (Co-opted by totalitarian Marxists)

I question the validity of such a state. I am an Anarchist. In my mind Nihilism is directly opposed to Anarchism. (I'm not the angry type of Anarchist.)
