Counter propaganda, counter narrativization Empty

Narratives work precisely because they don’t utilize facts, examples or arguments. They are merely a statement given at face value and presented with certainty and an emotional appeal. Ironically it is because there is no argument of evidence for the claim that the claim is so readily accepted by people. This is a psychological phenomenon.

How to create counter-narratives?

Remember in the fight for narrative control, facts and evidence don’t matter and in fact are counter productive. You don’t want to go into this battle armed with facts, evidence, reasoned arguments. Not only will your opponents not have any of the same, but they will immediately discount you precisely because you’re trying to demonstrate the validity of your claims.

Instead you need your own force of narrative. So how to make it?

1. A general broad statement that tends toward being all-encompassing
2. Avoid too specific or particular things/people/examples.
3. Display absolute certainty to the point that it’s apparent the claim is SO TRUE and SO OBVIOUSLY UNABLE TO BE ARGUED AGAINST that you don’t even need to bring any evidence or arguments for it.
4. Do not include any facts, arguments or evidence.
5. Make sure the claim is as tight and logically condensed distillation as possible of the broad idea you want to push.
6. Make sure there is a strong emotional appeal behind it.
7. Make sure there is an implicit factor of deep judgment and moral claim against those who are targeted by the narrative.

That’s it. Of course it also helps to have some media outlets to spread the narrative. Since this is all about hacking and reprogramming the psyche (psych-key) of the populace.

Understand your enemies. Understand why you’ve lost the world, why the word and therefore the future no longer exists. And understand how to fight back if you want to.

There is no more possibility for an appeal to reason. The world is just gone.

All that is left is chaotic battle of tribal factions for power. All you or anyone else can hope for now is to win a spot a little bit higher up on the hierarchy. And hope not to make too much trouble for those above you on the hierarchy, lest they desire to swat you like the fly you are (to them and everyone above you.)

This is the existence we have now. It’s open and naked and obvious and undeniable. Trump had one great chance to charge Hillary and many others with their crimes, for which they could have been convicted in court. That alone would have secured the future and the world.

The “deep state” has driven the wedge so deep that only that kind of real justice and accountability would have solved anything. Now the window has passed. The entire right has been gaslit into thinking trump has actually “fought the deep state” (name even one thing he has done that actually harms them), and the left has been gaslit into thinking trump and his supporters are Evil Incarnate and only the neoliberals and/or communist far left can save us.

It’s just ....over. I don’t know what else to even say. Amazing no one else can see this.

As for counter narratives, fuck that. No philosopher or self respecting human would apply narratives. Not for power or any other reason. But if you want to construct counter narratives to fight the dominant narratives today, I’ve spelled out how to do it here.

This power of false consciousness, pure propaganda, fake news, braincancerism that we call narratives is a power that can be wielded against those “elites” who now use it against everyone else. We can use it against them. If we want to. I personally won’t sink that low, but hey, maybe I’m just stubborn. Or more likely my consciousness is too sensitive and subtle to allow itself to exist on such a low plane of absolute banality for more than the several seconds needed to comprehend the nature of this psychic attack.

Is it a narrative, or a psychosis? I don't really see a narrative to tell you the truth. I see only insecurity and deeper insecurities preying on them. I see absence of all sorts of things, not the presence of a narrative.

A narrative is something which contains facts, logic and most of all truth; a narrative is precisely what is required now.
The Greeks had narrative. They had gods who allowed them. A godless world has no narrative, it actually believes that there is such a thing, must be, as political truth.
All that is true occurs beyond politics.

A narrative is for example “trump used his influence to try and get Ukraine to dig up dirt on a political rival.”. There are countless, endless narratives now. As method it has replaced thinking or real discourse. This is why so many people can’t think or carry on a conversation anymore.

A narrative is a statement of something asserted as fact when there is nothing backing it up, it’s really a gross distortion and lie, is manipulating the listener, and fits into a wider system of narratives. Want to hear narratives? Turn on any MSM. 1 minute of watching CNN or literally any other “news” today is going to give you examples of narratives.

Basically what it is, is story telling. Telling a fiction as if it’s true. But not any old fiction, a certain kind of fiction. A deliberate psychological manipulation. A psyop. A mind control.

That’s what I mean. Don’t make me turn on fake news just to find you some examples. We all know what I’m talking about here.

Narrative journalism is sometimes a term used. That’s also what I mean.

Telling convenient stories, fictions... spinning the truth, outright lies, distortions, moral grandstanding, virtue signaling, all the rest. Warping things into a convenient story to spoon feed idiots. To turn their brains to mush. We’ve all seen that happen to people we love.

If you want examples of narratives, turn on any “news”. If you want to know how narratives are constructed, I outlined that at the beginning of this topic. You can use this to make your own counter narratives if you want.

Narrativization is a perfect compliment to the tribalization of mankind going on now. To the destruction of the world.

Of course a philosopher, or any real human being, would have nothing to do with any of that shit.
