where triviality is perceived and enacted, there is not the dreaded no-meaning.
There is only: small meaning.

Hence; soap, advertisements, sports, and all kinds of mimicry.
TV has salvaged us, from being unknowing slaves to knowing inferiors.

From knowing and willing participants to unknowing and unwilling participants.
It has made us live our traumas in the open and our sanity in the core of our unease.

And it has made us honest about aesthetics.
A great disgust has filled us! And a great taste along with it!

What people thought of as being trivial before, now seems monumental and majestic in its effort to match the auspiciousness of the stars. True triviality is in the name of the company stamped in the plastic of a french-fry container. There never was such deep triviality before this fully exoterized Platonism, this form beyond decay which is without beauty because no will ever touched it.

how do you defeat triviality?

In case of the container, to take it as it is served, to know it only for its use, not its form.

By simply not focussing on it, but on the salt and fat from the fries.
