I hadn't listened to this song for over a decade, but I don't think it has become less relevant over time. I am one of the few to value the second Gravediggaz album over the first - in act I don't like the first one at all, as I see in it people faking cynicism, finding the courage of truth only in the less 'hiphop' but more mature content of the Pick, the Sickle and the Shovel.
There is a lot of poetry on this album, rough funk of terms, melting together, decomposing semantics of the 20th century, dining on fungi in purple silk.
Men worthy of that silk, and worthy of the fungi - true hippies.
