If this has to do with a replacement for organized religion, how would that work?
Isn't Epicureanism just a step or two down from hedonism?
That has more to do with quality than quantity, right, in a manner of speaking? We all need to worship something, to stand in awe of something. Do our souls/psyches keep a rein on that kind of thing?
Ecstacy and rapture is not epicurean. Do we need balance in worship? For me it's nature, for others, it is God.
I'm also against organized religion though I do see that it has its place. It's individuals who muddy the waters.
Everyone needs something or someone to believe in, something greater than they feel they are.
