Rain and wind, sweep over me
by daytime and as I sleep
haunt my enemies and make them cold around their thin spines
Wolf-god, Wind-god, I come to you with prey
I never leave you empty handed
or my heart is empty that night

Hail my Lord
the grass is green where you Rule!
Raidho, wheel of fame,
and Jera of fortune
I see them spinning in the sky
the Sun is a wheel! and the wind her soul!

On a lofty Mountain I build your flame
and I carve your mind
upon this dying world

Now the fiery winds of my breath
they curse upon thy ships, heathen
band of bronzed women, armed with steel
blades and yellow-bronze girdles
and yellow tunics as the stern bounces
upon the shallow frothy waves
and coming ashore their bare feet claw in the clay
like sand of our home

I might have taken Nietzsche too literally when he said 'dangerous play-thing'.
