'Mortal as I am, I know that I am born for a day. But when I follow at my pleasure the serried multitude of the stars in their circular course, my feet no longer touch the earth.'
- so at first I thought, banks, cause you know, - thats where they have money? - Exactly. Its kind of boring. So then I thought, ten banks? then I realized that would be, maybe coming from an angry place...

Not a yuge fan of Bullock tho. I generaly find her irony to be too self aware and important.
I tend to think her youth gave her irony a sweetness that made it kind of beautiful quite despite itself.
Her age makes it stand out less, comes more natural. She ages remarkably well, truly She was away too fresh, too overt to really be serious or truly attractive. She had zero mystique, that has changed.
Definetly a fan of that crazy crackhead. I don't think he does crack. But you know, the algorythms are off the charts.
You have to watch Two if by Sea. But like several of my favourite movies that became my favourite movies in the summers of 96 and 97 via a no longer existing, truly deliciously programmed paid channel called FilmNet, its just not readily available at all, like Trop de Bonheur, the very best coming of age movie ever to have ever been made. Also the best movie about blonde vs brunette. French cruelty.

there is this foreign gangster movie Brother with omar epps and that one badass asian dude, forget his name, if u haven’t seen it then fucking watch it.
By the way Oceans 8 turned out to be one of the shittiest movies ever, and there is an unsubtle layer of paste on Bullocks face. The first ten minutes were completely endurable though.
The ending showed why women in groups cant rule, ever. They don't know that the satisfaction of power is in how it is attained - that that is the thing at the core of what power is, why it is so compelling. They think it is some sort of magic that just happens. So you can imagine how bored women get... and how evil thereby.
This Julian character in The Shield, who can't speak without heaving and moaning, the actor who plays him apparently is now serving sixty years in prison for killing someone. It was clear enough that he is thoroughly unsound from his acting. Great piece of casting.

aight so here it is.
the deuce.
take about ep 3 to get into this but. in that respect it is quite nice.
Better Call Saul is great, it started slow but it's gathering steam, some beautiful characters introduced this season, very good drama. Ese es un Salamanca!!
Wow, House of Cards is exceptionally bad, without Kevin Spacey - The writing is non-existent. Not a single wit. Only Claire trying to feel important and the world being all hazy for her. Apparently Frank died. Of course. What else was the choice. But it seems like the whole universe has thereby transformed into Claires perspective. What an utterly hypocritical women that Robin Wright must be, to not show any solidarity to the man who made this possible for her. Its not like she can carry a show on her own - as wel see now.
I guess Im supposed to find it noble that she "believes in second chances". As a way of evading the fact that it is shameless to continue on the work of Spacey, purely for profits, after having erased him from existence.
Actually it is a bit better than it first seemed. They go into the hypocrisy of Francis/Spacey missing, and Claire is taking on some interesting semi Clintonesque psychology. Also Doug Stamper, whom I find most interesting perhaps of all the cast, is allowed good screentime.
